  • Cultivation: So shallow, directly on the plant site in April-May. Germinates after 7-10 days. Can also be grown indoors in April, for earlier harvest. Soften these plants before planting, by leaving them outdoors during the day for a week or so. The plant is grateful for good access to water and fertilizer. Covering with non-woven fabric prevents many insect infestations and gives earlier harvests.
